Being born and raised in a lumber yard, Steve has spent a lifetime in the construction field. Having gone from sweeping floors, stacking lumber and delivering materials to job sites, Steve has also designed and built many homes and commercial structures. He is now honing his skills on custom woodwork, including, but not limited to, Custom Front Entry Doors.

Debbie, on the other hand, has had to put up with Steve's frustrations as the quality of both materials and workmanship has declined dramatically in the last 35 years. Debbie has worked for an architect for 8 years and knows all to well about the costs and delays of inferior products arriving on the job site.

Now, their goal is to educate, not just the client, but the contractor and architect as well, on the everlasting value of beautiful wood products. This includes how to properly install, finish and protect these products for generations to come.  There is something special about the look, feel and even the aroma of a natural wood product!

Environmentally speaking, there is no friendlier choice than wood for construction of our homes and their furnishings. The steel, fiberglass, PVC, synthetic resins and other man made products do not stand up to the durability, flexibility and beauty of solid wood. Real wood is the most renewable and recyclable product available in the construction industry. It can be cut, trimmed, planed, sanded, routed, etc. where as these other man made products cannot! We strive to work with people and suppliers who have an appreciation for nature and our environment.
