Here are the most common configurations for most Home Entry Door Systems. Other configurations are available, such as a custom transom over Double Entry Doors with 2 side-lites, or a single Wood Entry Door with 1 side-lite where both the Entry Door and side-lite open for moving furniture in or out. ENTRY DOORS ORDERING OPTIONS 

Choose a Size: Choose the size of  Wood Entry Door you want in either a single Entry Door or Double Entry Doors. The prices shown are for slab doors only.

Choose a Side-lite Size: Choose a single sidelite or a pair of side-lites in the widths available (12", 14",18" or 24") and the proper height to match your Entry Door height. The prices shown are for slab side-lites only. You do not have to choose these side-lites specific to the door chosen-you may choose another sidelite style from the Side-lites for Square Top Entry Doors category. Prices will be added at the Add to Cart page.

Prehanging Options: Choose the width of the jamb you will be needing. A 2x4 wall will require a 4 9/16" jamb. A 2x6 wall will require a 6 9/16" jamb. A 5 1/4" jamb may be required for different exterior finishes on the wall such as stucco. Please consult your builder or architect!

Choose the Swing: When viewing your Entry Door from the outside:

A single door swinging into the house with the hinges on the right is a Right Hand Swing.

A single door swinging into the house with the hinges on the left is a Left Hand Swing.

A pair of doors swinging into the house with the Right Door Active is a Right Door Active.

A pair of doors swinging into the house with the Left Door Active is a Left Door Active.

Choose a Hinge Color: Choose the color of the hinges. This should be coordinated with the color of the Inside Entry Door Handle on the inside of the entry.

ENTRY DOOR HANDLES ORDERING OPTIONS  Choose your Description: Choose the function of the Entry Door Handle you are ordering. A Single Cylinder is a lock that is operated with a key from the outside only. A Double Cylinder is a lock that is operated with a key from both sides of the door. A Dummy is a handle with no function at all. A Dummy will be installed on the inactive door of a pair of doors.

Choose a Finish: Choose a Finish (color) that is available with the Entry Door Handle you are ordering. Unless otherwise specified, this Finish will also be the Finish on the Inside Trim you will choose next. This Finish should coordinate with the Choose a Hinge Color when ordering your Wood Entry Doors System.

Specify Inside Knob or Lever Handle: The names in this list are recommended for the Entry Door Handle you are ordering. You can view all of the available interior door knobs and lever handles by clicking the Click Here to view Inside Knobs and Levers link with your Entry Door Handle. Make a note of the door knob or lever handle you would like and go back to the Entry Door Handle you are ordering and make your choice in the drop down menue. If the name of the knob or lever is not in the list, please e-mail us at contactus@hansencraftcustomwoodwork.com or call us Monday through Friday at 479-273-2194 between 8:00 AM & 4:00 PM CST and we will be happy to help you order the inside door knob or lever handle you would like.
