SHIPPING AND RIECEVING INSTRUCTIONS

     Thank you for making a purchase from HansenCraft Custome Woodworking, Inc.
 
      Below you will find shipping information for the products we sell.
Please read this information carefully!

The Freight Charges you find here are only approximations and may change without notice!
Most single door orders will have a shipping cost of $300.00 to $500.00 or more depending on where we are shipping to.
Freight costs will be cheaper if you are able to pick up your order at the freight dock.
Freight costs will be higher if we are to ship to a residential address.
Please contactus@hansencraftcustomwoodwork.com for a more accurate cost of the Freight Charges that you may incure with your order.
 
     To determin the approximate Freight Charges, first realize there will be a Minimum $80.00 Crating Charge on all regular single door orders. Crating charges will be higher on all double doors and doors with sidelites and transoms & 2 1/4" thick doors. 
We try to ship all doors on their edges for the best protection against damages. Single pre-hung units will be shipped complete except for brickmold. Pairs of doors and doors with sidelites and/or transoms will be shipped knocked down ready to assemble on site unless otherwise noted. All brickmold will be shipped uninstalled because of so many issues of damage. Knocked down units will have already been assembled in our shop and then taken apart for ease of shipment. Any good carpenter will be able to reassemble these units on site. Don't hesitate to contact us if you need assistance!

Add Minimum $80.00 for crating of regular single door orders.

Crating charges will be higher for larger door orders!

Crates alone will weigh a minimum of 150 pounds!

All door orders are shipped F. O. B. the manufactures facility. 

All large item custom products will be shipped F. O. B. our facility.

All small item custom product orders and handle set orders are shipped UPS Ground FREE of charge.

ABOUT MOTOR FREIGHT

     All of our products are carefully inspected at the time they are very carefully packaged and will be free of any defects that would render them unfit for the purpose they were intended and to industry standards!

    As soon as your door unit is loaded onto the truck the order becomes YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.

     Motor freight is delivered in very large trucks and is usually very heavy and bulky. You must have good access for these trucks to get in and out of your delivery site. If delivery to your job site will be a problem, have your order delivered to another site where you can load it onto another, smaller truck. Most all single door orders can be handled by 2-4 good, strong men. Uncrate the order first if necessary. Do not expect the driver to help unload! His job is to get the order to the back of the truck. It is your job to get it unloaded! A lift gate is available on most freight lines for an extra charge.

     If there are any visible signs of damage to the packaging materials, please take digital photos of the damage and make the proper, detailed notes for the freight line.

You will have to make a claim with the freight company if there are any damages to the product as a result of damages in transit.

For the most part, we have had no major problems with any of the freight lines. If the damage cannot be repaired at your sight, (such as a broken glass that can be replaced on sight) the shipment should be refused and left on the truck with the proper paperwork or receive the order with the proper notification. If the product is returned to HansenCraft Custom Woodworking, Inc. and is found to have been repairable at your job sight, the customer will be responsible for any and all expenses incurred to repair and return the product to the customer. This will include all return shipping and crating charges and all shipping and crating charges to ship the product back to the original shipping address. All damages must be reported to HansenCraft Custom Woodworking, Inc. along with digital photos, via e-mail at contactus@hansencraftcustomwoodwork.com within 48 hours of receiving shipment. We will take the appropriate steps to repair or replace the product ASAP according to the circumstances. We want you to be 100% satisfied!

RETURN POLICY

     We want you to be 100% satisfied with your order, so, please, if you are not sure of a product you are wanting to order-by all means, DO NOT ORDER IT!  Please e-mail us at contactus@hansencraftcustomwoodwork.com or call us at 479-273-2194 Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM through 4:00 PM CST with any questions and we will be happy to help you with your order.

     There will be NO RETURNS  on any Pre-hung door orders,  or any custom ordered items after the ordering process has begun, payment has been recieved and/or production of the product has begun. If we do accept a return, there will be a 50% restocking charge and must be pre-approved with an RGA# (Returned Goods Agreement) you receive from us via e-mail. ALL FREIGHT CHARGES must be PRE-PAID BY THE CUSTOMER!  If the original order was paid for with a credit card, and the order is returned or cancelled, there will be a 3% processing fee!
